Rainforest Flow’s team conducting an engineering study in the Native Haramkbut Village of Shintuya, in the Manu Biosphere Reserve, Peru. A failed government water and sanitation project in 2003, left the community without clean water to drink.

Emilio Caparo, ( 2nd photo) an indigenous leader and water committee member from our project village of Huacaria, was part of our team. This is Emilio’s fourth village, in the last 16 years, in which he worked with to help them gain access to clean water.

Clean water is the most essential human resource we can give the people at this vulnerable time of coronavirus. To help bring clean water to Shintuya by year’s end, view rainforest flow.org and Donate Now.

Shintuya is our fourth village in the Biosphere, as we further develop our regional WASH model.
